Close to the top of my 'Why I love Edinburgh' list is the fact that every so often I get suprised by a view of the sea at the end of a street. Very good for perspective.
As was.... making it to the top of my first Munro! Amazing. Worth the hard work, without a doubt (top picture).

Is that photo taken from the flat with the birds?
Yep- it's from the parakeet's flat. Impressed that you spotted that! Had to make sure bird was safely locked in cage before leaning out of window to take that- could have been a disaster! x
